Meet Cowboy! He is a Australian Shepherd mix, and is approximately 18 months old. Cowboy has great manners. He sits before eating. He will shake your hand. Cowboy will give and take as much affection as you will give him. He is not the least bit aggressive. He gets along with other dogs, but we aren’t sure how he feels about cats. He gets excited to see you and always greets you with a ‘smile’ and his tail wagging. He looks forward to when his dog friends are able to play chase but understands when they don’t want to.

Cowboy would make an ideal pet for someone who wants a companion not just a pet. He needs your time and attention because he enjoys being with you. He is a fast learner. He walks well on a leash. We aren’t sure if he is house trained yet since he has been out on the range since we’ve known him. No doubt he would learn quickly since he so wants to please you. If you’ve been looking for a smart, loyal and loving dog, Cowboy is a great choice!
